Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Senior Sous Chef for an F&B company in Kuwait .

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on culinary professional who can support senior kitchen leadership, supervise daily food production, maintain consistent quality, and guide the culinary team during busy operations. The Senior Sous Chef will play an important role in ensuring smooth kitchen workflow, strong team performance, and high culinary standards across assigned outlets or concepts.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.

- Supervise food preparation, mise en place, cooking, plating, and service readiness.

- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards, recipes, and quality expectations.

- Lead and guide chefs and kitchen team members during daily operations and busy service periods.

- Monitor food quality, portion control, consistency, presentation, and timing.

- Support menu execution, new dish implementation, seasonal specials, and recipe standardization.

- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, cleanliness, and HACCP standards at all times.

- Monitor stock levels, food rotation, wastage, storage, and kitchen organization.

- Assist with ordering, inventory control, and cost-conscious kitchen practices.

- Train, coach, and motivate junior chefs to improve performance and consistency.

- Conduct shift briefings and ensure clear communication within the kitchen team.

- Coordinate closely with service, stewarding, purchasing, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.

- Step in to lead the kitchen section or assigned outlet in the absence of senior culinary leadership.

- Support continuous improvement in kitchen efficiency, quality, and team productivity.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, or similar culinary leadership role.

- Strong experience in restaurants, hospitality groups, hotels, or high-volume F&B operations.

- Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, menu execution, and culinary standards.

- Strong leadership, team supervision, and training skills.

- Good understanding of food cost control, inventory management, portion control, and wastage reduction.

- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and handle pressure professionally.

- Organized, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and hands-on in daily operations.

- Professional attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- International hospitality or multi-outlet experience is an advantage.

- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
