About this role
Role Objective:
Technical
Services Engineer - Records & E-Services is responsible for ensuring the
accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of aircraft technical records
and technical publications, supporting continuing airworthiness by maintaining
complete maintenance records, controlling engineering documentation, managing
publication revisions, and ensuring availability of up-to-date approved
information to engineering and maintenance personnel in line with regulatory
and company requirements.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Maintain
complete, accurate, and up-to-date aircraft technical records throughout the
aircraft lifecycle, ensuring all maintenance activities, aircraft logbooks,
component histories, inspection reports, ADs, SBs, maintenance releases,
modifications, and supporting documentation are accurately recorded, validated,
retained, and archived in accordance with company procedures and regulatory
requirements.
- Support
aircraft deliveries, lease transitions, redeliveries, audits, and regulatory
inspections by preparing, maintaining, and providing complete technical records
packages and ensuring the security, accessibility, and integrity of all
technical records.
- Coordinate
with Maintenance Planning, Line Maintenance, MRO, Quality, and CAMO to resolve
technical records discrepancies. Also, act as a liaison between these
departments to ensure timely flow of information and resources.
- Serve as
the system owner and master user for the OASES software, responsible for system
administration, configuration, customization, user access management, and
maintaining system data to support engineering and maintenance operations.
- Coordinate
with IT and system vendors, as required, to ensure OASES system remains
current, secure, and aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Administer
the Engineering & Maintenance SharePoint portal by maintaining controlled
engineering documents, manuals, procedures, forms, notices, and records,
ensuring timely publication of revisions, removal or archiving of obsolete
documents, and appropriate access for authorized personnel.
- Ensure that
all maintenance and modification activities are documented accurately and
comply with regulatory and company requirements.
- Manage the
receipt, distribution, revision, and control of technical publications issued
by aircraft, engine, and component manufacturers, ensuring engineering
personnel have access to the latest approved documentation.
- Maintain
accurate records of aircraft configuration, including aircraft effectivity,
modification status, aircraft variants, operational limitations, optional
equipment, and continued airworthiness approvals.
- Maintain
and update the onboard Aircraft Document Log, ensuring all required
certificates, approvals, and controlled documents are current, valid, and
correctly reflected in the document index. Verify that the onboard
documentation remains complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and
operational requirements.
- Develop,
review, issue, and maintain Technical Notices and Maintenance Circulars,
ensuring accurate, timely, and effective communication of engineering and
maintenance information to all relevant personnel.
- Identify
opportunities to improve technical records, document control processes,
workflows, and standard operating procedures, contributing to initiatives that
enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, service quality, and regulatory
compliance.
- Participate
in training and professional development programs to maintain up-to-date
knowledge of technical records management, technical publications, applicable
aviation regulations, industry standards, and relevant engineering tools and
systems.
- Carry out
any other task as and when directed by Manager Technical Services.
Requirements
- Graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering,
or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
operations.
- Strong experience with aircraft inspection, repair, and
modification.
