ROLE OBJECTIVE
The Security Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring aviation security activities at Hyderabad Station, ensuring compliance with company security requirements, regulatory standards, and airport security procedures. The role supports the protection of passengers, employees, aircraft, baggage, cargo, and company assets while maintaining effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate day-to-day aviation security operations at Hyderabad Station.
• Ensure compliance with aviation security regulations, company policies, and approved security procedures.
• Liaise with airport authorities, government agencies, ground handling providers, and security service providers.
• Conduct security inspections, audits, and operational checks to identify and address security risks.
• Investigate, document, and report security incidents, breaches, and irregularities.
• Maintain security records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Support internal and external security audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Monitor the performance of contracted security personnel and service providers.
• Assist in threat assessments, risk mitigation initiatives, and emergency response activities.
• Promote security awareness and support the delivery of security training and briefings.
• Prepare operational and compliance reports as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
### Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Aviation, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation security, airport operations, airline security, or a similar environment.
• A valid Basic Avsec Refresher certificate with minimum one year of remaining validity at the time of application .
• Knowledge of aviation security regulations and industry best practices.
• Experience working in an airport or airline environment is preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work shifts and respond to operational requirements when required.
