About this role

Role Objective:

Technical
Services Engineer - Airworthiness is responsible for ensuring the continuing
airworthiness of the company's aircraft fleet by managing regulatory
compliance, aircraft certification, configuration control, airworthiness
records, and engineering approvals in accordance with Oman Civil Aviation
Authority regulations, applicable manufacturer requirements, and company
procedures.

Duties and
Responsibilities:

- Monitor and
maintain the continuing airworthiness status of assigned aircraft and ensure
compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain
accurate aircraft configuration records including aircraft effectivity,
modification status, repairs, operational limitations, optional equipment, and
approved aircraft configurations.
- Monitor
aircraft and component maintenance status, including life-limited parts,
inspections, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), repairs, and
modifications to ensure continued regulatory compliance.
- Maintain
engineering records supporting Continuing Airworthiness Management and ensure
engineering data remains accurate and current.
- Liaise with
internal stakeholders, including CAMO, AMO, Flight OPS, Quality, to prepare,
coordinate, and submit applications to Oman CAA for aircraft certification,
continuing airworthiness approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor
certificate validity, coordinating renewals, and processing applications for C
of A, C of R, TRA, Certificate of Radio Equipment, ELT coding (fixed and
portable), aircraft leasing approvals, Statements of Compliance for (CAR-OPS,
CAR-MEL, RVSM, EFB, EDTO/ETOPS), as well as applications for FDR, CVR,
MFDR/MVDR, Noise Certificates, and AMP approvals.
- Monitor the
validity of aircraft certificates and approvals, maintain complete records of
regulatory submissions and correspondence, and ensure all regulatory
documentation remains current and compliant with Oman CAA requirements.
- Ensure that
all STCs related to airframe and cabin modifications are accurately
incorporated and reflected in the company's customized technical manuals,
including the AMP, MEL, IPC, and other applicable documentation.
- Responsible
about reviewing airworthiness checklist including but not limited to:
registration papers, ATL, airframe and engine hours/cycles, ADs, modifications
and repairs, Flight Manual, weight & balance, life limited components,
maintenance programs, WP, and aircraft in compliance with the latest Type
Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS).
- Conduct a
physical survey to verify the aircraft's compliance, including confirmation of
conformity with the Aircraft Flight Manual and TCDS, verification of the
presence of fireproof identification plates, conformity of aircraft markings (including
registration markings), availability and serviceability of emergency equipment,
and proper operation of the internal and external lighting systems.
- Support
aircraft deliveries, lease transitions, redeliveries, regulatory audits, and
authority inspections by providing required airworthiness documentation and
compliance records.
- Identify
opportunities to improve continuing airworthiness processes, regulatory
compliance, aircraft configuration management, and engineering procedures.
- Participate
in training and professional development programs to maintain up-to-date
knowledge of Airworthiness Review function.
- Carry out
any other task as and when directed by Manager Technical Services.

Requirements

- Timely
preparation and completion of airworthiness documentation supporting aircraft
delivery, lease transition, and redelivery projects.
- Prompt
identification and resolution of airworthiness-related discrepancies and
regulatory issues.
