Shift/Schedule: Rotating Schedule, 3 days one week, 4 days the next week, etc.
Day Shift: 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM until 6:00 AM
Pay: $15.12 hourly

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner / Utility Sanitation Worker to maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment at our Georgia facility. In this role, you will take ownership of plant cleanliness, operating industrial floor equipment, maintaining production areas, and ensuring our team has a clean, safe space to work every day.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Floor Care & Plant Floor Sanitation:
Operate walk-behind or ride-on industrial floor scrubbers daily across production lines, tunnel zones, and equipment aisles.
Sweep and clean active extrusion lines, production floors, tunnel areas, and the bulk resin silo storage pad.
Sweep warehouse floors weekly to keep distribution paths clear of dust and debris.
Machine & Facility Maintenance:
Wipe down Lexan machine safety guards on bag machines and equipment during planned downtime.
Maintain facility safety infrastructure by washing down yellow safety guardrails weekly and pole guards monthly.
Assist in maintaining common areas, including the employee break room and restrooms, to high cleanliness standards.
Waste Management & Recycling:
Collect, empty, and replace production floor trash bins regularly throughout each shift.
Keep manufacturing aisles free of loose scrap plastic, hard film, and excess corrugate.
Bale scrap cardboard as needed to keep disposal areas neat and hazard-free.
Supply Tracking & Routine Checklists:
Keep the mobile cleaning cart stocked with necessary cleaning supplies and safety chemicals; notify management when inventory runs low.
Complete and submit weekly sanitation checklists to ensure all scheduled areas are cleaned on time.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
Required:
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift (with occasional overtime up to 12–16 hours as business demands require).
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
Comfort climbing ladders (up to 20 feet) and maneuvering under or around production equipment safely.
Environment Comfort: Ability to work comfortably in a warm manufacturing environment (temperatures can reach elevated summer levels inside the plant).
Communication & Reliability: Good communication skills, a team-first attitude, punctual attendance, and the ability to work independently off a daily task list.
Preferred:
1+ years of janitorial, commercial cleaning, or industrial sanitation experience in a warehouse, plant, or factory setting.
Experience operating commercial floor scrubbers, sweepers, or cardboard balers.

Working Environment
Fast-paced industrial manufacturing facility (normal exposure to industrial noise, dust, and temperature variations).
All required personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning equipment will be provided.
